Definitely Sorrel, though Persephone is a close second.

Miranda is my favorite - because she has to face so many trials, and yet she is still kind and loving, always trying to do good and to do her best.
But I would give a whole lot to be best friends (to even meet :D) any of the women protagonists.

I love Katie. She is just a survivor. Life is hard and she kept getting knocked back down. I love her strength and how she still found happiness.

My particular favorite is Marion. I love her stories (that all start out the same),her "drops of gold", her impertinence when she meets Layton, and her sense of fun.

I connect with different heroines for different reasons: normally either because I see a lot of myself in them, or because I wish I could be more like them. I really love Persephone, but I also adore Gwen. And Marion. I'll stop now.

Catherine is one of my favorites!

Clara Bentford.

Oh that's difficult! I think I'll have to go with Marion!!!

Sorrel! Her spirit and strength is incredible!

Catherine. She's been abused by her uncle, but stands up to him and becomes a strong woman. And she's got a great sense of humor!

Whyyyyyyyyyy must you ask such difficult questions??? I love them all! But if I had to choose . . . I really love Persephone and her relationship with Adam, especially as we still get to see it grow in Courting Miss Lancaster.

I would have to say Sorrel. She was the first one that popped in my mind and there was no way that I could discredit how much I truly enjoyed her personality.

Miranda, Catherine, Clara...I could go on and on...

My favorite herione is Katie Macauley. She is so strong and your can't help rooting for her. After her two books were over I was a bit sad, because even though I loved that she got her happy ending, I wanted to read more of her story. Lol!

I can wait to read this next book of Michele's! She is one of my favorite Authors. But of course you are too Sarah! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
