Walkabout Wednesday: Double Entries... today only!!!

It's Wednesday. Let's go walkabout.

(I'm bringing along a few of my mates as I wander through the vast wilderness of the publishing industry, learning the ins and outs, and having a grand adventure.)

Walkabout, Week 61:

It's snowing. That's right, folks. Snowing. Snow---ing. This desert girl is not particularly happy about this abrupt change of seasons. I have spent the past couple days sitting in front of my computer working on submitting a boatload of manuscripts to my editor (yippee!!) and watching white flakes make their way down from leaden skies.

This depresses me. Not the submitting manuscripts part. The snowing in October part.

So, in honor of this ridiculous burst of preseason cold, I am giving out double entries for October's giveaway TODAY ONLY! Leave a comment and I'll enter you twice for the fabulous box of assorted chocolates!

And, to help you along, here's a question in desperate need of answering:

  • What are you dressing up as for Halloween this year?

(ignore "Read More!")---->

Belle or a pirate...still undecided.

Last year I stuck a plastic spider on my head, this year I don't think I'll put that much effort into it. . .

Good luck shoveling :) The temp here will be up to 88, ahhhh!

I'm glad it hasn't snowed YET where I am but I know it has to come before Halloween.

My hubby and I are going to our ward Halloween party as couple missionaries. All we have to do is dress for church and put on nametags. Yes I'm lazy.

Maybe I should dress up as a box of chocolates since I've been stuck on chocolate for days now....yum.......oo....double entries for chocolate! Yay for Sarah for connecting that snow = more chocolate!

I'm wearing a garbage bag that says "I'm Hefty" on it, and I'm making my sweet husband wear one that says, "...and I'm Glad."
It's easy but still a "clever" play on my pregnancy ginormousness. :)

I'm not sure what I will dress up as. On Friday when I teach at the community college I think I will wear a cats ears headband thingy I have, but as for real trick-or-treating, not sure.

Enjoy the snow!

I'm going as a totally frazzled, stressed writer.

Oh, wait . . .

My only consolation when I saw the snow was that it is too early for it to be a staying snow. It will disappear by the weekend for sure.

As for Halloween, I'm thinking Mrs. Claus. Just to throw people off.

I think I have a grass skirt and coconut shells hiding in the closet. Presto! Hula girl.

Bummer about the snow. It's beautiful here in AZ (ahem, neener neener).
