September's Winner and October's Prize Announcement!!

First of all, a big thank you to everyone who entered September's giveaway for the Jane Austen themed journal. Considering it was our first one after the big summer hiatus, we had a good turn out.

The answer to the trivia question was: Fanny Price in Mansfield Park

Without further ado, the winner (chosen by the random number generator at random.org) is....

Elizabeth Morgan!!

(send me an email via the "contact me" tab so I can get your info and mail your prize!)

Now. October's prize.

So you know how a couple days after Halloween all the good candy is gone from the kid's Halloween bags? You know how that's really depressing? You know how you get so desperate you'll actually voluntarily eat a Bit O' Honey as a means of paying homage to the wonderful world of candy overindulgence you had enjoyed for such a brief time?
Well... I'm giving you the hook up.

October's prize is... a box of assorted chocolates from my favorite--yes, FAVORITE--candy company in the entire world: Cerreta Candy Company in Glendale, Arizona. Don't even get me started on the French Mints. Holy Happiness, Batman.

To add to your excitement over this giveaway, I actually interviewed the box of chocolates for INFF!! Check it out in the post below!

How to enter:
  • leave a comment on any October post (but a real comment, none of this one word, absolutely no effort, I'm just writing something totally random so I can entered a gazillion times stuff. Okay? We can handle that right?)
  • mention the giveaway or link back to my blog on Twitter, Facebook, your blog, etc. (just make sure you let me know you've done it so I don't miss giving you your extra entry)
  • be an INFF guest! (just shoot me off an email: friends **at** sarahmeden **dot** com to volunteer. You'll be glad you did!)
This month's extra entry question: (answer in the comments for an additional entry)
  • What is your favorite and least favorite Halloween candy?
Happy entering!!!

Holy Awesome, Batman! There is chocolate to be won! Yes!

Favorite Halloween candy: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Least Favorite Halloween candy: Jolly Ranchers or anything that takes time to eat. Not a savor it person.

And I'll have to make sure that I tweet and blog about the contest. You'll see it because that's where people go to learn how to ramble and flatter other authors.

Any chocolate is my favorite Halloween candy.
My least favorite is those hard chunks of bubble gum or taffy. I really don't want to chew much. I just want something that melts in my mouth.

The children must pay me in chocolate for going trick-or-treating with them.
I get tired of tootsie rolls!

I adore candy corn. So yummy!
But I could totally live without lollipops. The kids love them, but I am not one whit tempted.

Favorite candy? Hmmmm, I like too many things to narrow it down. Let's start with LEAST favorite: licorice. Or tootsie rolls. My favorite is probably Peanut Butter Cups.
