Is this the end of I Need Friends Friday?

I interrupt the usual Walkabout Wednesday to make a sad, yet important, announcement. Nobody wants to be my friend. *wipes tear*

For 10 months "I Need Friends Friday" has been a weekly installment here at Every Friday for nearly a year, you've been greeted by this friendly face.--------------------------->

In those 10 months I have had no lack of interested interviewees. At times my interview schedule has been booked out for up to 10 weeks in the future. Guess what? The schedule now sits empty. I am currently begging family members to agree to an interview in an attempt to buy myself some time.

So now I'm wondering... has INFF run its course? Has it lost its appeal? Does anyone read it other than me?

If you'd like to see I Need Friends Friday continue:
  • let me know!
  • volunteer to be interviewed if you haven't already (friends AT sarahmeden DOT com)
  • talk someone else into volunteering to be interviewed

I'll host a special INFF in the next couple weeks in which we can bid the weekly interview a very fond farewell.

I adore INFF! I've never volunteered to be interviewed because 1) I'm so not cool enough 2) I'm so not interesting enough 3) I just "met" you and I'm trying to avoid doing anything that might be interpreted as "stalkerish."

Really hope you can keep it going. I haven't read one INFF post yet that hasn't made me laugh.

It's one of my dreams to be interviewed on INFF! I just thought I should wait until it's closer to my book release. Save INFF!

Oh, I love INFF! I'll totally volunteer to be interviewed. That would rock!

Noooooo!! This is the one post I absolutely MUST read every week, even if I don't always comment.

Unfortunately, I've already been interviewed. But I'll try to get some people over here to volunteer.

If you have any interest in a farmer/writer/mom of 5, then I'm your gal. I think you probably have more people willing to do your interview than you realize!

good for you!

I really must protest the possible end of this feature. Please keep it going! I nominate Kristina P, Motherboard, and Serene.

Long live INFF!

I'd love to be interviewed, but frankly I'm scared. How much time do you allow for your interviewees to come up with their snappy answers?

Ahem. *small voice* I'll volunteer. :)

I second all of the aboves, don't let I Need Friends Friday go down the toilet. I will definitely volunteer for an interview if you would like. I, too, have been lurking and also waiting to volunteer until after I finish my big novel. But if you need someone to interview, I will raise my hand.

No, no, NO!

How about interviewing more book characters? Those are hilarious! How about fairy tale characters? I'd love what you would do with the Wicked Witch of the West.
