Walkabout Wednesday... Clue #1 to April's Fabulous Prize!

It's Wednesday. Let's go walkabout.
(I'm bringing along a few of my mates as I wander through the vast wilderness of the publishing industry, learning the ins and outs, and having a grand adventure.)

Walkabout, Week 31:

First, a couple cool things:
  • I will be doing a book signing this Saturday from 11am-1pm at the Provo (UT) East Bay Seagull Bookstore - 1326 S University Ave. Stop by and say hi so the staff doesn't think I'm a total loser!
  • A fantastic photographer--she took the fabulous photos of me that appear on this site and in the back of Courting Miss Lancaster--is doing a giveaway on her blog and the big ol' prize is an autographed copy of CML as well as a $50 gift certificate that can be used toward a photo session or custom designs (she does fabulous cards, announcements, etc.). Stop by and check her out: Claire Waite Photography

Okay! Now for CLUE #1

Just a recap, because I care about keeping you informed... and because I enjoy building tension unnecessarily.

I'm giving away a prize so fantastic it will blow your mind. It is really, really, really super cool. Because I will probably never give away something this cool ever again as long as I live (slight exaggeration in order to create added anticipation), I'm not even telling you what it is. You get to guess.
Anyone who guesses correctly, although I won't tell you if you do, gets 5 extra entries. AND, if you knew what the prize was you would covet those entries!!

So... the first clue is:

That clue is more helpful than you probably realize. Get your entries in and keep checking back for more clues. I may even post some on days I don't usually blog. Oooooooo!!!!

(ignore "Read More!")

An advanced reader copy of your next book. That is my guess.

How did you know I've always wanted my own elephant?!?

(Oh, and if I win this time, you'd better draw again. I don't want the rest of your blog followers to lynch me.)

Is it an iPad? Or ePad? Or Edward Cullen? (which would be tremendously cool of you)

Oooh. Changing my mind. If you really are giving away Edward Cullen, I definitely want to know if I win... even if I am in danger of being lynched. I'd risk it. ;)

I just skimmed this post at first and thought you were giving away the actual letter "e." Then I started thinking about who gave you the authority to do that and wondering how this would affct my writing, diting, lctronic mail, and vn my chs wrapprs. Swiss and Colby, no problm. Parmsan can squak by. But chddar, scrwd. So I'm glad you're not actually giving away the letter "e."

Don't tell me you are giving away the Eden children.

I would want an Eden child...but I'm pretty sure you want them too.

I'll take the e-book. :)
