I'm giving stuff away! That's right, folks. Giveaways!
Here's how it's going to work: Every month I'll have something new and fun to give away to my avid fans, aka my mother, and to the rest of you. And there are so many fantastic ways to enter the monthly drawing that you could, conceivably, be entered dozens of times each month. Isn't that great!?
So, both of the following gets your name entered once (and you can repeat these as many times as you want during the month):
- Leave a "thoughtful" comment to a post sometime in the calendar month. By "thoughtful" I don't necessarily mean insightful, philosophical or thought-provoking. I mean, it had to have taken more thought than simply leaving the word "comment" or "okay" or something lame like that. Show me you mean it, folks!
- Leave a comment or post on my facebook fan page!
- Post a link on your facebook, website or blog to a post at www.sarahmeden.com. (But you gotta let me know it's there.)
- If you are an INFF guest and your interview gets five or more "thoughtful" comments, you get entered into the drawing twice for that month! (And past guests who received 5 or more comments will be entered twice into January's drawing!)
- Be an INFF guest! Simple as that. Do an interview, get a stick figure, get three entries. Wow, I'm generous!!
- Interview me on your website/blog, etc. and you'll be entered FIVE TIMES!!!
What is gonna be January's big prize???

Just in time for Valentine's Day, a gift certificate to the Cerreta Candy Company, makers of fine chocolates and gourmet candies for 40 years. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this!!

What a clever idea you have come up with. I have posted a link to your site at www.strictlyletters.blogspot.com. Head on over and check out the site. Also, I did a review a while back on your book so feel free to take a peek. Good luck.
Wow, sounds fun. Let's just say though, that strictly hypothetically mind you, your husband wanted the prize. He wouldn't be disqualified would he?
Tanja, you should get bonus points for being the first. I may have to invent a "bonus points" category.
PS - Thanks for the plug of Ramshackle Knight. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was my first and I'm always a little nervous when people read it because I know I've improved since then. Still... fun story!!
Paul, Paul, Paul. Read the fine print. Oh, wait... there is no fine print. Hmmm...
I feel really bad that Tanja left out where she got her books from. You would think that she would mention her favorite person in the whole wide world. With out me, she never would have had the glorious opportunity to read the best books ever!!!!! By the way, we are dying for more.
March! March! March! A new book coming in March!! Did I mention it'll be March?!
We only have Ramshackle Knight and Seeking Persephone. We know you have written others, but cannot find them for sell. Any ideas? I love books!!!
Alas, my other books are no longer available for sale. They are under consideration for republication right now, though that depends a great deal on how well "Courting Miss Lancaster" (coming out in March-heehee) sells.
Sorry to keep posting, but I was loaning mine out so that I could spread the word about an awesome new author. One was gone a little longer than I wanted. So, I went to the web to replace it and found only 1 copy but couldn't afford the approximately $200 asking price. I can't loan them anymore if I can't replace them!!!
As much as I love my books (and I really do love them), paying $200 for one would, in my opinion, be an inarguable sign of mental deterioration.
PS Amie, that's 3 entries for you in January's giveaway. Wahoo!!
Where can we find the book in March?
Well Amie--The book should certainly be available online. It should be in all the Deseret Bookstores and at Seagull. I'm not sure beyond that. How's that for being inexcusably ignorant?
I am surpirsed that Amie did not mention I love to be first- at anything. I am going to make amends and give all credit to Amie for my introduction to your stellar books. She is my guide, generally, to reading.
That said, I am going to embarrass her, and tell you she would like to take you to lunch. She is a great supporter of the reading industry.
P.S- I am all for "bonus points"
:::chuckle::: I should do something like that too. lots of traffic but minimal feedback on my site as well.
I didn't realize you HAD a fan page. I clicked. I'm an official FB fan. (Naturally, I was a fan before, but now FB knows it.)
You're already on my blogroll. That must count for *something.*
And I've already volunteered for INFF. It'd be fun to do when our books come out. (How fun is THAT to say?!)
How about I interview you after your next book comes out? You wouldn't even have to consider me for the giveaway. If your Friday interviews are any indication, you would be fun to interview! http://mormonhermitmomsbookhabit.blogspot.com/
Sarah, I posted your site with some deep comments on my facebook page...not that I need any thing with candy in it...tell Paul if I win, he gets the candy! I can hardly wait for your new book...love ya! Nadeoui
That's a fabulous prize that I could put to good use! I would love to interview you on my blog. When are you "available?" I'll email you...
I sent you an email once saying that I wanted to be your friend. Did you not get it?
Also I think if Paul wins, he's going to give you rht prize for V-day.
mormonhermitmom & Valerie -- I would love to be interviewed! email: sarah sarahmeden com
Victoria -- I'm sort of a dork. I vaguely remember an email from you and thinking that you would be fun to interview for INFF, but it sounds like I never responded. That's a side effect of dorkiness. I'll email ya!
I have a link to your site on my blog--does that count?
And I got my tonsils out last week, hence the lack of comments previous. Darn. And I LOVE chocolate.
Oh. And I'm a FB fan. And I'm sure that cerreta's chocolate would REALLY help my throat feel better (okay, maybe it wouldn't help my throat, but it would help my general sense of well-being, right?).
So, im pretty sure im a fan... i have links AND videos on my blog...AND i am a INFF Alumni.... Im just sayin... fans dont get much bigger than me...which makes me think... do i REALLY need chocolate... it will do nothing but make me even "bigger"....sigh... :)
