Walkabout Wednesday... Why I Have No Idea What Day It Is.

It's Wednesday. Let's go walkabout.

Walkabout, Week 17:

Did you know it's Wednesday? I honestly had no idea until a couple minutes ago (and it is now 3:30 in the afternoon). I sort of lost track of time in the midst of packing up all my family's belongings, moving those belongings to a different state, then unpacking in a new house while watching unfamiliar white flakes fall from the sky and wondering who lives in a place as cold and strange as this.

My back hurts. And I'm tired.

But I just got my desk and books unpacked and set out and found myself a couple little nooks in my new house that will be just perfect for writing. Give me another week to settle in and get my kids back in school and I should be hard at work once more.

Oh, and I got a Christmas card from my editor--yep, still love saying that--a couple days ago in the mail. Made me feel very, very official. And the fact that he didn't send coal has to be a good sign, right?
