27% Is Not, Necessarily, Failure

27%. That's how many of my 30-ish books I've finished with 4 weeks left to go. Probably not going to get all of them done. I think I'll pick my favorite categories and concentrate my efforts.

Today's entry is nothing more than an update:

  • I am about 1/2 way finished with my next book. The progress is slower than usual, but I've had this wee little bit of reading to do and it has taken up a lot of my time. My next book will be a sort-of-sequel to "Seeking Persephone," telling the story of Adam's friend Harry Wendover. Harry is hilarious and, therefore, a great deal of fun to write. A different feel than "Seeking Persephone" but still a good read. That is if I ever get my nose out of my pile of books to read and finish writing it.
  • I'm going to a writers' conference this weekend and doing a book signing.
  • I'm getting some professional pictures done next week so that I don't have to list my 5-year old as my photographer any longer.
  • I'm accompanying a local high school choir for their spring concert in order to pay for my trip up to the Whitney's next month.

  • Whew! I'm tired just reading that. No wonder I don't have time to sleep.
