To Ms. Turley's Class

I received an enormously enjoyable phone call this morning from Ms. Turley's 8th grade class. They had ventured into the sometimes painful world of Welsh words via my book, The Price Paid. We discussed impossible Welsh pronunciation and one intrepid young man even pitched a story idea involving Bosnian gangsters. It was a blast!

Well, the class informed me that while the picture of my 3-year old self on this site is cute, they were curious to know what I look like now (I won't tell you how many years later.) I warned them that the reason I hadn't updated my photo is because I was much cuter back then. But, having promised to post a more recent picture, here you go (Taken this afternoon by my 5-year old in my living room):
