Historical Romance

SARAH M. EDEN's historical romances are currently "out of print" while under consideration for republication.

The Ramshackle Knight

An impulsive kiss forces Crispin Handle, Lord Cavratt, to marry a lady he has never met. With the gossipmongers anxious for a juicy scandal and his bride subjected to the venom of the not-always-Polite World, Crispin finds himself in the uncharacteristic role of knight-errant.
Catherine Thorndale never truly believed she would marry, least of all a gentleman of consequence.
When her Uncle forces the hand of just such a man, Catherine finds herself thrust into a world foreign to her in almost every way with only her reluctant husband to guide her.
Their situation, they both understand, is only temporary: until other arrangements can be made. Only one thing can ruin their carefully laid plans... love.

Through All Hopes

An impromptu house party descends on Miranda's home, unexpectedly bringing back into her life the one man she had never thought to see again--the man who had broken her heart years earlier.

Had Carter, Lord Devereaux, known Miranda was living in Dorset, he never would have come. He cannot possibly forgive three years of pain and broken promises.

But now, forced into one another's company, they must either learn to overcome their past or accept that some breaches cannot be healed.

A story of love, devotion, healing and hope.

Seeking Persephone

The Duke of Kielder has more influence than Parliament, higher social standing than the Royal Family. No gentleman dares face him on the dueling field, nor risks testing his infamous temper.

What is a man like the Duke to do with a bride who is gentle, loving and absolutely impossible to live without?

Research and Historical Information

For Elise

They were inseparable in their youth, the very best of friends, two halves of a whole. For four years, Miles Linwood, the Marquess of Grenton, has felt incomplete without her.

When a carriage breakdown leaves him temporarily stranded in a tiny town, Miles makes an unexpected discovery that will alter the course of his life, and rewrite the pages of his past.

The Price Paid

When a distant cousin dies leaving Nickolas Pritchard an unexpected inheritance, the previously penniless young gentleman assumes his troubles are over. Soon he discovers his windfall isn't quite what he thought. Legend has it, the estate's history is filled with war, tragedy and mystery. And, of course, there's the ghost...

Your book covers are the most charming I've ever seen in historical romance and I wonder if you could tell me who is responsible for there design.
All the very best,
Simone.

Thank you so much for the compliment, Simone. I actually designed the covers myself after many, many versions that were horrendous. They are currently out of print while under consideration for republication by a bigger publisher. Hopefully the new covers will be lovely, as well.

So we can't buy any of your books right now? Could you tell the publisher to hurry it along. There are people waiting!

I would really like to read your historical romance books! I've searched everywhere that sells out of print books but can't find them. Do you by chance have a few that I could purchase from you?

I sold my last copies just a few days ago! Bummer.
I have a brand new historical romance coming out in March and will be sure to announce a release date when I have one. You can make it 3 more months, right? (It'll be worth it, I promise!) And, if that book sells well enough, the publisher just might (crosses fingers), chances are good (crosses toes), rerelease all the rest of them! Here's hoping.

Man, I should have contacted you earlier! You are speaking at a conference I'm going to and that is how I stumbled upon you. When I read the synopsis of your books I got really excited because they are exactly what I like to read. I've heard they are clean to boot. Can it get better than that? :) I don't think so. Well... yes, I could get to read one of your books. :) I'll be sure to pick up your new one so the old ones can be re-printed. I think we are going to be a fantastic author/reader duo. :) It shall be a long three months but I shall struggle to endure. :) Merry Christmas!

Reading over the previous comments answers some of my questions. I had ordered one of your books from Amazon and was sad when I received a cancellation email. Your books sounds really good and I hope they are released so I can read them all! What is the name of your book being released in May? How can I get a copy, will Amazon be seeling them?

I love the covers as well!

Okay, I noticed a few embarrasing typos...I meant March (instead of May) and selling (instead of seeling) =)

The book coming out in March is entitled "Courting Miss Lancaster." I am certain it will be available on Amazon. I will most certainly post a link when the release date draws closer!

If they rerelease your books they won't edit them will they? I have read Seeking Persephone and Ramshackle Knight and I love them the way they are. I think you are a fantastic writer and I only wish I had ordered all of them before they were gone.
